This policy explains what personal data FinsERP collects when you use the Fins ERP platform or this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have.
1. Who we are
FinsERP (CR 1512793), Al Sumou Tower, 18 November Street, North Al Ghubra, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at hello@finserp.com.
2. Data we collect
Account data: the name, business name, email address and phone number you give us when signing up, and the details of users you add.
Customer content: the business records you enter into the platform, which may include personal data about your own employees, customers and suppliers. We process this on your behalf and under your instruction.
Usage data: technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and timestamps, used to keep the service secure and to understand how it is used.
Payment data: subscription and invoice records. Card details are handled by our payment provider and are not stored on our systems.
3. Why we use it
To provide, secure and support the platform; to process subscriptions and issue invoices; to communicate with you about your account and service changes; to improve the product; and to meet legal and regulatory obligations in Oman.
4. Sharing
We share data only with service providers who help us run the platform — hosting, payment processing, email delivery and error monitoring — under agreements that restrict their use of it. We do not sell personal data.
We may disclose data where required by law or by a competent authority.
5. Security and isolation
Each customer’s business data is isolated from every other customer on the platform. We use encryption in transit, access controls, audit logging and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data in line with recognised practice.
6. Retention
We keep account and business data for as long as your subscription is active, and afterwards for the period needed to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. You may request deletion of your account data subject to those obligations.
7. Your rights
You can request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion where we are not required to retain it, and a copy of the data you provided. Contact hello@finserp.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.
8. Cookies and analytics
This website uses essential cookies to function and analytics cookies to understand traffic and improve content. The platform itself uses only cookies required to keep you signed in and secure.
9. YouTube API Services
FinsERP publishes tutorial videos on its YouTube channel with an internal tool that uses YouTube API Services. Our own staff use it only to upload videos to our own channel and to edit their titles, descriptions, thumbnails, subtitles and playlists. It does not read, collect or store any information about viewers of those videos, and it offers no YouTube features to users of this website or of the Fins ERP platform.
The tool keeps, on our own equipment, the Google authorisation token for our channel and the identifiers of the videos it has uploaded, and nothing else obtained through YouTube API Services. That information is not shared with anyone and is not used for advertising. In using YouTube API Services we are bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms) and the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
The staff member who authorised the tool can revoke its access at any time from the Google security settings page (https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions); the stored token is then deleted. Questions about our use of YouTube API Services can be sent to hello@finserp.com.
10. Changes
We will post any change to this policy on this page and, where the change is material, notify account owners by email.
